New Screen Captures:

My Werd, it's not *fun* to be busy. Sorry guys, I know I owe you a layout (& other stuff), but juggling this plus a full-scale musical & a full-time job, makes for very little spare time in the process. Still, I managed to get some of my latest captures (overdue I know but better late than never!) sorted out & catalogued, so there are four NEW galleries for your viewing pleasure (YAYS!). Click to see captures from Viva Laughlin, Pushing Daisies, Bones &, my personal favorite, NCIS. Or check out all our other Patrick screen caps on our screen captures page.

Also, I've updated the filmography page & added what I think is a cool feature: it now has an extra section that shows if I have screen captures available for that listing. So if you want to see caps from a particular show, then just click on the link & it takes you straight to that capture page. Pretty neat huh? Course, I'll keep it updated as I add caps to the site, so just one more new feature from your friendly Webmistress at PFO.

Sorry about the delay guys, but enjoy the caps! Peace. Out.

Layout News:

Due to serious time constraints, work on the new site layout is placed temporarily on hold. The time-table has been pushed back to EST: December 2007. I regret to do this, but as this is a site for pleasure, not profit, I have to expend my resources accordingly. If you wish to be part of the beta team for the new layout, please send me a message from our contact page & let me know.

PFO Reaches the 1 Year Mark!

It hardly seems a year could've passed since I was wrestling with all that coding & struggling to put these images together -- but we made it! *grins* It's been a busy year for Patrick & for us here at PFO, but we were never so happy to make it through. Looking to the year ahead now, I'm excited to see what new projects Patrick will have on the horizon. He's done some wonderful work this year & it seems each year that goes by, he works more, moving on to bigger & better projects. We're excited here at PFO to see what the future holds & will be with him every step of the way to stardom.

First, I have to say sorry it's taken me so long to update. It's been a busy month; so busy in fact I don't know how I'm going to fit all my news into just one post! BUT -- while lately I've been silent, I've not been idle. These have been surprisingly productive weeks & as afore-mentioned, I have so much news I hardly know where to begin! *grins*

Still, being me -- I simply must start with a story:

Surprises by Post

Which leads me to:

PERSONAL :: A Thank You Note for Patrick Fabian

Next, I've been quiet because I've been designing! Oh yes, lots of new art pretties for you guys to download; available in the exclusives section. First, I've designed three custom L.J. layouts for download & use, plus I offer the headers & icons seperate so you can use them with other blogging programs or on a personal website if desired.

Just a little teaser of what's inside:

:: PFO Exclusive Layout ::

Full installation instructions are included, so the setup process is easy. And of course, you can always contact me if you have any problems. Also, I've created a Patrick custom mood theme for use with L.J. paid accounts. You can find these & more goodies on our site exclusives page:

NEW Site Exclusives

On a more personal note, I've also finally opened the link to my personal blog. So now if you click on the menu, you'll see it takes you to my personal L.J. -- 'Warrior Gypsy', instead of getting the 'coming soon' page. Reason I had it locked down was, among other things, it looked awful & fell into disuse a bit. But since I was on a layout kick anyway, I've redesigned it now & it looks faboo! Plus, it is really the center hub of my online communication world! So, if you are looking to get in touch with me -- or even see what my latest life news is: my L.J. is the place to look. You can use the link on the menu to visit (it'll open in a new window for you) or you can use the link below: (only if you want to of course! *grins*)

My Personal Blog

And finally, I did promise you a new layout for PFO & I meant it. As you can see, I've been swamped in stuff lately -- but I haven't forgotten the new layout. To date, it sits at the top of my art queue along with the layout I need to design for my personal website (I'll open the link to that once it's up & operational). Besides, a friend pointed out to me that this layout has been up nearly a year now! And looking at the site launch date, I realize that's true! Shocking, but true. It certainly doesn't feel that long, but wow -- PFO is nearly a year old people! *grins* Is that cool or what?! While I'm feeling the need to break out champagne & toss confetti over our little site birthday up & coming here, I agree this layout is getting old & perhaps the best celebration would be to give us something fresh for our eyes to focus on. SO -- I'm starting on a new layout design first thing Monday. I estimate, from conception to completion, about a month's worth of work ahead of me (realize that this EST may change due to how long it takes design & recode everything, especially since I can't do the majority of work at work anymore). Approximately by November, things should look pretty different around here. And, if it doesn't, I should at least be able to give you a more accurate timeframe on when the work will be completed by then.

In conclusion, lots of exciting changes coming to PFO & some cool new stuff to amuse you in the meantime. We had a slow period for a bit, but expect things to be moving pretty quickly now. So stay tuned you PF fans for all the latest, here at PFO!

My apologies that it's been so long since I've done anything special for this site. I've been rather busy with a combination of writing obligations, social events & theatre, all of which seem determined to soak up all my free time. Plus I was very, very badly sick with a nasty strain of strep throat for the past two weeks (which is why the site so out of date now). As you can imagine, that made it even more impossible to get things done. However, I've resolved to work on this site again for the next couple of weeks, which means an entire new layout plus I'll be designing some new exclusives for that section of the site. SO -- lots of exciting work ahead, so stay tuned! *grin*

Been so busy lately, alas site work has diminished with the overwhelming queue of projects elsewhere. I'm proud of myself for upkeeping the latest news on the tv-guide scroller, if nothing else. But I've made amends this week by indulging in some shameless self-promotion of this website. We are now officially listed with
IMDB, The Link Lounge, The Celebrity Exchange, & I think Fansites.com, but I keep running into error messages with the server, so I don't know for sure. *shrugs* Nonetheless, I've done my part to help this website gain more exposure, so I am giving myself a well deserved pat on the back *pat, pat* and indulging myself for the rest of the evening with a new LJ layout design & a few fresh strawberries (now that the yummy fruit is back in season)! Go me! *grins*

For the record, I fully intend to have the season finale screen caps from Veronica Mars (& some from Patrick's CSI episode) up by Monday. And that will officially finish off the galleries. (YAY!) I was hoping to get some captures from ABC Family's 'Snow' movie as well, but I never could track it down. Oh well. Maybe it will come back out at Christmas time. *shrug* Nonetheless, it's been a massive undertaking, but the prize is well worth it. The quality of the screen captures is gorgeous & I couldn't be more grateful to those who've helped make it happen. Browse, enjoy & download with my blessings.

The NEW screen capture galleries are about finished. For those who've been trying to download, I apologize for the any missing images or broken links you may have found. It's been a slow process trying to build these galleries & has been mostly dependant on when I could get time to catalogue once the images have been snapped. Sometimes a whole bunch of galleries would go up at a time & links that were dead would flourish with new life in mere seconds. But I'm hoping the result is well worth the patience invested to get there. There are now several galleries with a wide variety of Patrick's work to choose from, everything from older classics like 'Saved by the Bell: The College Years' to his newest on 'Veronica Mars'. In fact, I have so many snaps that I am considering breaking the page in two for easier gallery listing. Some of the more favorite works have several pages of snaps, so feel free to explore & collect. Again, please don't forget to review my image use policy before downloading & contact me if you find any broken image links. Otherwise, have fun exploring! *grins*

Happiness abounds in my heart, 'cause it's been a productive week! *grins* Well, a productive couple of weeks actually. Despite nasty weather & a voluminous rehearsal load (our show opens next weekend -- YAY!), I managed to get site work accomplished. I finally killed the ugly white pop-ups w/ a gorgeous image viewer script that 'pops out' the picture by shadowing the rest of the page (thanks to the good folks at Dynamic Drive). &, due to the excellent tutoring of my friend Kiari, I managed to grab some deliciously yummy screen caps this week. *grin* More coming soon as I plan to concentrate my energies on snapping & cataloguing for the next couple of weeks (snapping is easy -- cataloguing not so much), but I have a few galleries already in place for you to browse. Please review my image use policy before downloading the caps & remember these are copyrighted images & should be used legally & accordingly. I have caps available from 'Xena: Warrior Princess', 'T'witches' & an ep of 'Joan of Arcadia'. You can find the screen cap galleries here:

The New Screen Capture Galleries

Don't forget to let me know what you think or if you use the screen caps for any designs. I always love to admire other online work. *grins* I'm so inspired by all the lovely caps myself, I feel the need to do some designing. TTFN! *rushes off in an artistic flutter*

Hip-hip Hurrah! I have good news, ladies & gents! I've found a very kind, very generous Xena fan who is willing to share the wealth of her fabulous photography with PFO, since my con pictures looked -- well -- not so good! *grin* Finally, the con report is not only posted -- but in technicolor brilliance too! *grins* The pride of the collection are her lovely Patrick captures (of course!), but there are some nice snaps of other con celebrities too. Please feel free to go admire them here:

& drop by her site to say thanks or admire some other con pretties:

Ok, Patrick fans! The Xena 2007 Con Report is finally up. First, I'd like to apologize for the missing photos & the poor quality of certain other photos. It appears, among my other misadventures of the week, my camera decided to screw up on me too! *sigh* All I can say is I'm working to remedy the situation. I'm hoping to gain other photos (particularly of the celebrity guests) to display that will be in better condition. But until I do, we'll just have to make do with what's there. I'll shortly have a picture of Patrick & I from the photo op to display as well, but I'm still waiting for it to come back at the moment. Secondly, I apologize for the delay in posting this -- I know it's late, but I've been just swamped since I got back & literally haven't had time. Rehearsals (I missed 3 since I was away & my director wasn't happy), bills, Mike's birthday & a snowstorm have consumed my life & it seems to never end (not even on the weekend).

You can read the con report here:

A PFO exclusive :: The Xena Con Report 2007

In other news, it's my birthday today -- so at least I see a night of relaxing with some cheery Patrick eps in my future! (after work & rehearsal, of course) & maybe even a little birthday cake too. *grin* We are not discussing the candle count though. Not a chance!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the con report & let me know what you thought! *grin*

I'm Back!

Hard to believe it's been a whole week already. Still, I am finally back home and hope to be posting my con report & the pictures in the gallery by this weekend (if I can get it typed/developed in time). If not, it will definitely be posted by next weekend. I'll put a note in this section once it is all posted. *grin*

Notice anything different about the main page? Huh? Huh? Oh c'mon. You know you do! *grins* Alright, alright. What you are seeing is a new section. You know how we have the scroller on the right side of the screen? On the left side of the PFO image, there was just the black, empty space. I got tired of it, so I came up with an idea on how to utilize it. I turned into a 'Patrick quote of the day' space. Neat, huh? Dug through my DVD's to find some gems and sure enough, now you get a random Patrick quote everytime you load the page. Also, I set up a little merchandising stand, just to make finding his movies online a little easier. *grin* Happy Patrick viewing everyone!

Do not say one word about my pop-up windows. Just don't! *has a diva pout* I am telling you, it's not a good idea to taunt my windows. I get slightly homicidal about that. It all started back in OCTOBER when I found this code for customizable pop up windows. Since this was what I needed for my gallery anyway, I was of course thrilled that I could customize them to fit my page design. *growl* After about two weeks straight of wrestling with that DAMN JavaScript (which, incidently, would load just about everywhere & everything EXCEPT on my PAGE where I needed it!), I finally gave up. Apparently my website has some secret invisible stigma or gypsy curse attached to it that refuses to let it load that particular code. I got to the point where I even copied & pasted the code straight from their source to mine just to make sure I wasn't screwing it up somehow. Loaded perfectly for them. I got a billion error messages on mine.

"Yes, I know there's a freakin error in line 55. It's what I am trying to fix, you stupid Internet Explorer!" *sighs*

So for now, my pop-ups are blah, dull white windows, but darn it, they work & without error messages!! I'll come up with something nicer when I redo the gallery, cross my heart! 'Til then, just bear with the blahness and trust in yummy pictures of Patrick to see you through! *grin*

Happiness is -- *drumroll* . . .

. . . having pages that do what they are supposed to do (IE: What I TELL them to do)! Finally, the purple vlink has died the death of a thousand default programming deaths (and some nerd somewhere has a heart attack), but by God, I'm appeased! *grins* I never thought I'd get that purple color to go. Normally, I love purple (one of my main staple colors as you know), but not on my perfectly coordinated, very WHITE text-ed pages. *tsks* It was offending my artistic sensibilities to no end. Especially since I knew that CSS code was right and yet the purple was still there, in clear defiance of my style sheet orders. *sighs*
But that's in the past! Now, NOW we have justice. We have lovely matching pages. It's the little things that count. And finally, all is right in the internet world. *happy sigh* I'm gonna go hug a fluffy bunny now. *grin*

Alright! Finally! Mark this day in history because finally, all the site page coding is DONE! Every last bit. Because why? Because I rock! *grin*

Sure, I had to teach myself a new programming language to make it all work, but hey! *shrug* I’m a happy camper now. True, it probably does say something about my patience level that it's easier for me to teach myself the entire CSS code than mess with learning a program that would code it all for me! But it only took like a month to learn (& besides, it’s useful knowledge to have for a psydo-webdesigner like me!), so there ya go! But I am very, blissfully, euphorically happy that all the coding is done. Now it’s just copy the pages, add content, upload & voila! We are ready for beta testing! Go Live is coming soon! *does happy dance*

“Celebrate good times, C’MON!” *grin*

“Div class, oh div class, wherefore art thy Value:Property; codes? Deny thy parameters & refuse thy function, for without a name, thou STILL wouldst not load properly ANYWAY!(a scene from Romeo & Juliet, badly misquoted. But nothing in life is more frustrating than star-crossed love -- & CSS code that still won’t load the fiftieth time you attempt it!)

Verily, I felt like poisoning myself today after I was sure every possible code was correct and read about two gazillion tutorials and still had about as much success loading a div as a man pining for water in the Sahara. After about four hours of aimless searching for answers, I simply deleted an extra line of scrollbar code & viola! Like magic! Divs were everywhere, springing up like oilfields. ARG!!! *insert bad word HERE!*

But if I would stick with the coding more often (instead of springing off to random projects like Tigger), I might get more done. Still, pages almost finished. Now that divs are working, it’s off to the color wheel for me to pick the page color schemes. Maybe another week before site is ready to upload and beta test. Yay!

Coding headaches aplenty. I swear, if I see one more div, I think I am going to have to shoot something (possibly the person who invented CSS). *grin*

But on the bright side, the test page is finally starting to look like an actual site exists here (or rather, like I envisioned back when I was gleefully designing and thinking to myself: “Ooo, what a COOL picture! It can do this and THAT and THIS too. . .” without bothering to think about three months in the future when I’d be coding and slamming my forehead into the wall cursing the very same ‘once-cool’ picture!) But we are making --infinitesimal-- progress! Oh Happy Day! Yahoo! (Or as the 'Yahoo' commercial says: “YaaaahoooOOOOOooooo!” *grin*) Only 43,568 pages left to code. Now if only the divs will roll over and play nice, I may actually have content here finally. *grin*
