So you want to know a little bit more about the webmistress and how this website came into being, eh? I am flattered. Though I do hope the overall focus of this site is clearly established as being Patrick Fabian & his exceptional work, I have to truthfully admit that little ‘bits’ of my personality oft escape and are sprinkled in various places throughout the webpage. I would never wish to distract attention from Patrick in anyway and sincerely hope that my quirky sense of humor does not do that. If it is distracting; I sincerely apologize. But in the same respect, I’m afraid I just cannot sit back and make these sections a dry, Dragnet-type: “Just the facts, Ma’am.” It's not entirely professional, I know. But I say, what is the fun in being a ‘fan’ if you can’t be a bit ‘fan-a-tic’ sometimes? *grin* So here it is. The exclusive ‘look’ at the woman behind the magic:

Ever since she can remember, Christy has always been an avid fan of the arts. Possessed with curiosity & boundless imagination, she taught herself various creative skills since she was young. Besides web design, she is an actress, soloist, authoress, playwright, songwriter, poet, philosopher & of course, daydreamer. She also enjoys dance, but since it’s the one art she’s never been able to master (her dancing is self proclaimed as “looking like a turkey on acid”), she decided to spare the public her lack of coordination. With over 15 years acting experience to her credit, she considers herself an actress first and foremost; her other artistic gifts playing second fiddle. Although she has been ‘play-acting’ & ‘dressing-up’ since she was a child, her first crack at ‘real acting’ came during the summer of ’93 when she won the title role of a comedic monologue; in which her performance landed her name recognition, a second type-casting role & her very first standing ovation. After that, she was hooked and has performed multiple times for community theatre, church theatre & special occasions. Some of the shows she has been in have included: Bye, Bye Birdie (although she had a solo & speaking role, she is fondly remembered to this day as: The Fainting Girl), Dearly Departed, Neil Simon’s Fools (for which performance, she was nominated for a Willie Award), Tales of a Kingdom, Father of the Bride, The Dining Room, The Bronze Bow, The Importance of Being Earnest & Scarlett O’Hara in Gone with the Wind. (ok, I’m kidding about the last one. I never got to be the lovely Vivian Leigh. *melodramatic sigh*)

When not wrapped up in an artistic endeavor (or rather between various endeavors), Christy loves to read, explore her DVD collection, party with any of her various circles of friends (online, theater, choir, etc), swim & take long walks in the sunshine. Floridian born & bred, she now resides in Texas and laments the lack of seafood and an ocean within driving distance. She works for Covenant Hospital by day & weaves rich worlds of fantasy by night. She has also been offered jobs doing voice work for Clear Channel & modelling for Mary Kay cosmetics.

She first discovered Patrick Fabian whilst watching “Saved by the Bell: The College Years” and being an astute judge of ability, was immediately fascinated by his portrayal of the delightful Professor Laskey. Her fascination grew after seeing him perform as the conman Rafe on Xena: Warrior Princess & she has continued to watch his career expand over the past eight years, long before he had a web presence. She is honored to be able to dedicate a page exclusively to him now (a project she has wanted to take up for several years, but always lacked the necessary information & time) & sincerely believes in his work & the quality of his performances. She hopes he will soon become a household name & will continue to work for many more years.

You can reach Christy either through the contact page or at her personal website. If you’d like to know more about her web design (or just *herself*), you can visit her portfolio or her personal blog.
